Lavender Season

We have replanted some of our Lavender "Photographers" Field with lavender that blooms later than our other varieties. This will help extend the season for photo shoots. We may add more dates to the 3 weeks that will be available. If interested in a late season (July 20,21,22) let us know and we'll put you on the waitlist. These late dates won't be guaranteed as we will need to make sure we have blooms.

Wildflower Season - Summer 2026

Wildflowers, Zinnias and Cosmos have been planted to create stunning areas for your photo shoots. Ask about purchasing live butterflies for your photo shoots.

Sunflower Season - ??

We have not had very good luck with sunflowers. The first year was great, but after that.... every year has been some sort of issue. Too much rain, not enough rain (and we have no way to get water to that area), turkeys eating the seed, deer eating the young stalks, too wet to plant. You name it. We hope to try planting in another area closer to our house so that we can water, and chase turkeys and deer out.

Fall Foliage Season - If interested please contact us. If we have enough photographers we will create dates.

We'll have several stations set up around the farm for some fabulous fall foliage photos. The 59 Chevy and 57 Farmall Tractor will be 2 locations. We'll have pumpkins and cornstalks and everything you'd expect in the fall. And with the views and scenery we have around the farm, we know you'll get the perfect shots for your clients.

Christmas Season - - November 14, 2026
3 hours $300
We'll have 10 stations set up around the farm to give you a great variety of options. Props include decorated Christmas tree, 12’ fireplace with chair, 1 sleigh in the horse barn, 1 sleigh with a back drop, 59 Chevy pickup with decorations, Vintage tractor, barn doors, 2nd floor cream room decorated for the holidays with a spectacular gold/champagne tree and decorations.

ADD ONS

Add the Cream Bridal Loft Room - $50 per session (2 or 3 hours) - If you book this you get exclusive use of this room for the session. Great space for changing or photographing.
Not available for private use during our Holiday season.
Add Bluey, Bandit, Diamond or Silverado for $100 per hour - 1 hour maximum per pony/horse at each shoot
Add Sparkles the Unicorn for $400 per hour - 1 hour maximum per unicorn at each shoot
Add Cupid or Pearl (unicorns) for $300 per hour - 1 hour maximum per unicorn at each shoot
Add Santa during Holiday shoots - $75 per hour

"We understand that you need to plan ahead with your clients for the bloom and foliage times. We have made our best effort to predict the peak bloom and foliage times. However, it all depends on Mother Nature, and if our predicted dates do not match the actual time of each bloom or foliage, we will work with you to reschedule. We may also add additional dates at the last minute if the flowers continue to be at their peak or begin to bloom earlier than expected."

The Farm at SummitWynds is pleased that you have chosen our farm as a beautiful backdrop for your professional photos.
Permission is required for anyone wishing to use The Farm at SummitWynds as a setting for professional commercial or portrait photography.

The Farm at SummitWynds is a family owned, private, working farm that incurs expenses. Therefore it is necessary to instill a photography policy and farm rental fee. We appreciate our customers and professional photographers understanding and cooperating with the policies that have been put into place.

• Reservations are required for professional photo shoots.
• Price is per photographer, regardless of whether they are working together or part of the same business. You may bring an assistant, however if they are using a camera they must also pay the fee.
• There is a rental fee for professional photographers which is required to secure your time slot.
This fee is non-refundable. If the weather interferes with the photo shoot, we will reschedule to an agreed upon date and time.
• By making a reservation, photographer agrees to these policies.
• A Farm Representative will be at the gate to allow entry for photographers and their clients. Photographer must check in upon arrival.
• The Farm at SummitWynds reserves the right to restrict access to certain areas based on crop production or project needs.
• Please park in the designated parking area.
• Photographer is responsible for all actions and activities of their clients/employees.
• Photographer and their clients must respect the fields. Picking of the flowers is strictly forbidden.
• Clients must wait in a waiting area and may not wander the farm. Children must be supervised at all times.
• No dogs/pets. No drones. No smoking, no alcohol. No smoke bombs, confetti or glitter.
• PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY while at The Farm. Animals and kids are everywhere and can come darting out from nowhere (or barns.
• Do not block entrances, pathways, or farm areas for use by others in any way. Do not pick flowers, plants or step off of pathways. Do not climb on buildings or equipment without
permission. Do not enter pastures or fields with animals.
• Fields are not accessible by vehicle. Anything being brought to the field must be carried in and carried out.
• Photographer shall hold The Farm at SummitWynds Inc, its owners, managers and members harmless for any loss, injury damage or expense arising out of his/her use of the property.
• The Farm at SummitWynds assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to any equipment or belongings.
• If photos are posted online or on social media sites, The Farm at SummitWynds requests location recognition be cited with the post.
• The copy, reproduction or use of any The Farm at SummitWynds’ logo (digital or print) is prohibited without written permission from The Farm at SummitWynds.
• The Farm will determine the number of photographers who can rent the farm at any given time based on locations on the farm.
• Policies are subject to change without notice.
